The Savannah Arts volleyball team won all six of its matches Saturday at Windsor Forest to take home the trophy at the Chatham County Open.
The Panthers dominated the field, which included Islands, Johnson, New Hampstead, Windsor Forest, Jenkins and Savannah High. Savannah Arts dropped just two games in the round-robin tournament, losing sets to Johnson and Savannah High.
Sharon Routhier, Emily Daughtery and Anna Gerbsch were among the top players for the Panthers, who are 6-0.

ST. VINCENT’S 9, METTER 4
The St. Vincent’s softball team won its opening game of the season with a 9-4 victory over host Metter on Friday. Madisen Norris picked up the win in the pitching circle and went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs to lead the Saints. It was the first win under new head coach Marie Dotson for St. Vincent’s.
