Savannah-Chatham police are investigating the shooting death of a 31-year-old man on West Gwinnett Street Monday night.
Michael Lanier Wilson, 31, of the 1400 block of East 58th Street, was transported from the 600 block of West Gwinnett Street to Memorial University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead after the 6:34 p.m. shooting, said police spokesman Julian Miller.
