One person is in custody following an investigation by the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team and the seizure of several pounds of marijuana and weapons.
Earlier this month, CNT agents working in an undercover capacity received information 24-year-old Holden Freeze of Savannah was distributing marijuana. On Tuesday, CNT agents with the assistance of the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit executed a search warrant at Freeze’s residence located in the 400 block of East Park Avenue.
The search warrant resulted in the recovery of multiple pounds of marijuana (mostly broken down for distribution), items commonly utilized for the distribution of marijuana, two firearms, and more than $5,800 in cash.
Freeze was arrested at the time of the search warrant and charged with numerous felony-related charges, including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Freeze is currently being held at the Chatham County jail.
The seized marijuana has an estimated street value of up to $3,100.
