Funeral services for former Savannah Mayor Floyd Adams, Jr. will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at St. James Catholic Church, 8412 Whitefield Ave., according to Adams Funeral Services.
Adams will lie in state at the church beginning 9 a.m. until the hour of service. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church.
Adams, who served as mayor of Savannah from 1996-2003, and as a city alderman from 1982-1995, died Saturday at Candler Hospital at the age of 68.
