Volunteer members of the Chatham County Disaster Action Team responded to an overnight quadplex fire located at 209 W. Park Ave., in Savannah, GA which destroyed all 4 apartments displacing 9 residents.
Red Cross volunteers immediately provided the displaced residents with funds for food and shelter for the night. One resident was not home at the time of the fire.
Red Cross caseworkers will further assist all of the residents at the chapter offices later today.
