St. Andrew’s School joined forces with one of America’s best summer learning programs.  Horizons is a six-week academic, cultural and recreational summer enrichment program that helps students from a diverse, low-income population build problem-solving skills, foster awareness of community responsibility and instill respect for oneself and others.  This first summer St. Andrew’s will host Kindergarten and 1st Grade students on campus.  The program will grow, adding one grade each summer.

“The entire St. Andrew’s community has embraced this new partnership with Horizons.  We have students volunteering their time this summer, several key individuals joining the Horizons Board of Directors and some of our teachers serving as Horizons faculty,” said Mark Toth, Head of St. Andrew’s School. “With any partnership, our goal is to create relevant and meaningful opportunities for our students, families and faculty.”

St. Andrew’s is an independent, International Baccalaureate World School in Savannah, Georgia. For more information on the private Pre-K through Grade 12 school, visit www.saintschool.com
