Keller Williams Realty Coastal Area Partners gave back again this year in the company’s annual day of service known as RED Day. More than 250 local associates along with their families and friends participated in a full display of a culture of caring at Fresh Air Home on Tybee Island.
RED Day stands for Renew, Energize, Donate.
Since the first RED Day in 2009, Keller Williams Realty associates around the world have contributed more than half a million volunteer hours to community projects around the world.
KW Savannah’s RED Day 2014 promises to make an even bigger impact at the Fresh Air Home on Tybee Island, including:
• Fundraising to support both short and long term maintenance and building projects
• Volunteer hours to paint, clean, mulch, and repair facilities
• Marketing efforts to illuminate the great impact of this local organization
Every summer the Fresh Air Home (FAH) opens its doors to hundreds of Savannah area children. The mission of the Home is to improve the health of the children, to build character, and to help them grow into better men and women – both physically and morally. The Fresh Air Home opens its doors during the summer months to a maximum capacity of 92 children.
To accomplish this mission, Fresh Air Home provides enriching camps throughout the summer. The Fresh Air Home is operated and maintained by the Froebel Circle which is comprised of 50 dedicated women who are committed to serving others. As a non-profit organization whose goal is to better the lives of all children, donations are welcomed. For more information, visit www.thefreshairhome-tybee.org.
