The Effingham Sheriff's Office arrested David May, 54, of Bloomingdale on Thursday for possession of child porn, said David Ehsanipoor, sheriff's office spokesman.
The arrest came at May's residence after a two-month-long investigation conducted by the Effingham County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Ehsanipoor said May had videos and images of children as young as 6 years old.
