Savannah-Chatham police investigators are searching for a suspect in a shooting that injured one man at a park early Tuesday afternoon.
A domestic disturbance just after 1 p.m. at the park near 39th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard led to the incident, said police spokesman Julian Miller. Police were uncertain immediately after the shooting whether the man injured was involved in the disturbance or was just a passerby.
Miller said his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police are continuing their investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020.
