
Air Force Airman 1st Class Dominique R. Flen graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Flen is the daughter of Jacqueline D. McClelland of Charlotte, N.C., Robert L. Flen of Savannah, Earl McClelland of Charlotte, N.C. and Jacqueline K. Clay of Fayetteville, N.C., step-daughter of David Clay of Fayetteville, N.C. and granddaughter of Rose A. Robinson-Mitchell of Middletown, Ohio.
She is a 2006 graduate of Seventy First High School, Fayetteville, N.C. She earned an bachelor's degree in 2010 from North Carolina Agircultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, N.C.
